I bought the 18 compartment box, and I am very pleased. I was looking for something to store my flies in while traveling. I needed something somewhat small so it was easy to travel with, yet large enough to hold many flies. I usually take a many flies with me to my fishing location, then transfer the flies I want to fish with to a small fly box. These boxes fit the bill almost perfectly. The overall size of these boxes is great for bulk fly storage while traveling. They are very small, yet hold many flies. These boxes are also well constructed. You can vigorously shake the box, and flies stay in the compartment that you put them in. The boxes are stackable, which helps keep multiple boxes organized. I only have 1 complaint, and it's a small one. As I stated earlier, I use these boxes for bulk fly storage. These boxes are great for flies size 10 and smaller. However, once you start getting into the bigger flies, you can only fit a few into the 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" compartments. Nevertheless, I am very pleased.
