These planer board releases are full-size and can be used with wire, monofilament or braided line. The inner tension spring on the clip can be moved to adjust the tension. The clip has florescent orange tape on both sides for greater visibility. They are Weldon model PBR-6.

They work good if you spend some time getting to know thier function . Braid is difficult to release from the rubber pads . We double the line up and they work sufficiently but if you donot double the line they rarely release even with a 6lb walleye . They do tarnish pretty easily store them is a separate container with an application of WD 40 or equivalent
