Church Tackle#39;s The Walleye Board are popular inline planer boards which can be used with any line, including the new super braided lines. The clip holds the new, ultra thin, slippery braids and fused lines like Berkley FireLine that are popular for trolling. Set correctly, this clip will not damage even light monofilament. It is designed so the board can be removed with just one hand while fighting a fish.

Comments about Church Tackle Church Tackle The Walleye Board Planer Boards:

Removing an in-line board quickly is imperative to avoid creating slack and losing fish. These boards are so easy to use, they really minimize not only the amount of time needed to retrieve, but also to get set up. The adjustable ballast on the bottom of the board also makes it easy to adjust for either high waves or heavy leadcore, snap weights or hard pulling cranks. I love these boards!

What a cost and space savings over running traditional boards. They get your line out away from the boat and catch fish!!!

Comments about Church Tackle Church Tackle The Walleye Board Planer Boards:

I've used a number of in-line planer boards and like these church boards best.
On other products I've had to add my own releases
and do other modifications.
Typically I fasten a rubber band around the rear of these boards (through the slot). This keeps the board in place on the line so it can be removed long before you get your fish near the boat.
Simple to use in cold weather when dexterity becomes an issue.
