i use these holders for trolling in the atlantic ocean portugal coast line near nazaré ( l@@k up nazaré in a search engine ) they never slip or unattach and are very easy to put away i wouldn't no to what else to compare them to because i've had two for about ten year and just bought another two because i've got a bigger boat now don't want any thing else these are the ros holders for me
