I'm an avid fisher. My faforite fish is the European catfish. These kind of fishes will get a weigth up to 200 pounds and a lengh up to 8 inches.
Normal rod holder often breaks if a heavy fish bites because in several situations you'll fish with lines up to 120 pounds and nearly closed brakes.

This heavy duty rod holder is strong enough to handle this huge power.

Recently purchase four single holders. Installed on 1" rail. During first trip found the black plastic anti-abrasion cups (for lack of a better term) on top of the tube came off when pulling rod out of tube. They are not attached permantely and I had all of them come off during the trip, some of which are now floating around Lake Erie. I like the quality of this product, but for the money I paid, this issue needs to be corrected. The mfg. knows of this problem as he informed me this may happen when I contacted him about a shipping question.

Spent alot of time researching and I'm very pleased. Great pivoting ability that other brands don't have or which affect there ability to hold a dipsy diver rod w/o strain and damage.
Easily adjustable, well made from the US of A. Kudos to Craig's.
