I really enjoyed the concept of a balanced rod/reel combo for a moderate price. The combo balanced just a little bit reel heavy which is the way I generally like my rods. Good durability, handled 5 (+) pound steelhead with ease. Very good for nymph fishing and roll casting. I consider it a good investment.

Excellent quality for a 4-weight rod-combo, the wide arbor reel makes handling line a breeze. This combo is perfectly balanced, comes with excellent line as well. If you've never put out over a hundred bucks for a fly outfit you will be very pleasantly suprised by this outfit. You can feel the quality in your hands, literally.
