The Redington SS Super Sport is an ultra light and sensitive performance fly rod that offers smooth casting and superb lifting power with minimum weight. The blank is made with Redington�s Red.Core construction, which uses 85-million modulus carbon graphite. The royal blue colored blank is complete with an aluminum reel seat, the finest grade cork grip available, titanium snake guides, titanium oxide stripping guides, and alignment dots with rod length and weight indication on each section.

I have a 9054 - 5wt SS rod. This rod is superb looking, lightweight, and it casts so accurate that it's better than the Sage's Z-Axis 9054, I own one of these too. The reel seat design is classy. Kudos to Redington for developing such a fine rod!
