I mentioned a random failure above. I have a F908-2 fly rod which has served me well until my last trip. I have hooked 10 or 12 trout with this rod and experienced no problem, until during a cast the rod broke between eyelets 4 and 5 for no apparent reason. I am returning the rod for replacement.
