I bought these for my mother over a year ago. She has macular degeneration so the contrast with the copper helps her with driving and in general. She lost the pair recently and was heartbroken...will definitely get the exact one again. She is almost 70 and an unexpected pro was that the Polar Eyes Pismo added a very nice sense of modern style to her very classic look.

I bought these sunglasses as a gift for my dad who likes to flyfish. I don't think he ever used sunglasses when fishing before but he said they really helped. They looked good on him too.

these were attractive looking but a little small even when oredering the'large' lens size. Also, the ear pieces broke after about 12 months of use.
Decent value for the price and quality.

I am a Truck Driver and bought these glasses for driving. I am very impressed with the quality and fit. They are very comfortable. They wrap around your face and hug the sides of your head but not too tight. They are the best quality sunglasses I have ever bought.

My wife and I both own these sunglasses. They are a great value - attractive, glass, for [$]. The drawbacks are that the nose pieces are not secured as well as they could be and have come off on two pairs that we have owned. My glasses also get scratched from the tips of the arms touching the inside glass since I fold them and put them in my pocket. They come with a case, but it is too bulky to be of use to me. Maybe some felt around the tips would help. In any case, we still buy them, because they are comparable to much more expensive sunglasses and we like the look and feel. They are lightweight and fit very comfortably.

I don't just use these for fishing, I use them for everything outdoors. And use them 365 days a year. I've bought 6 pairs of these for myself, and 3 for others. I've had both the grey and amber/copper types and favor the copper tinted. Anything white against a blue sky stands out great (find the fish finding birds before you find the fish). I used to get the non-scratch resistant brand name made by the same manufacturer and loved the optics and feel of them. It's literally like wearing "rose-colored glasses" they are both comforting to the eyes and greatly the enhance natural beauty (I live in the tropics). My only complaint is that even these scratch resistant types are still relatively easy to scratch the lenses but otherwise are quite durable. But my biggest problem is thoughtlessly leaving them somewhere--and they are so great that I go through considerable effort to find them. Bear in mind I wear them EVERY day of the year so, what wears out "fast" to me may not for you.
