I was always afraid of the "over the glasses"look of some brands of sunglasses. I have been always afraid of the "old folks" who wear the BIG sunglasses, they ALWAYS seem to run me off the road. Thus, I would not wear the over the glasses sunglasses, BUT, I happy to announce that this product changed my mind. Better styling,great sizes,made it possible. I'm GLAD I decided to take a chance and give these a try,I'm happy with them. My "friends" who wear the "cocoons" are jealous, as they should be.....maybe they should move to Fl.and buy a Caddie....

I have Cocoons fit over Rx sunglasses and thought a pair of Vistanas would be nice for dressier occasions. They are 100% acceptable in function and styling, but the shiny finish on the frame really does make them look cheap, which is such a shame. If at some point they offer them in a matte black like Cocoons, I'll buy them. I will be returning these and will stick with my Cocoons instead. I can heartily recommend them for the lenses, but be aware of the shiny frames if you are considering a purchase.

I wish there had been a bit more information about the specific uses of these sunglasses and the tint color. I did not learn about the tint color in relation to usage conditions. For example, perhaps the amber tint is better for driving use.

These fit-overs do the job; the lenses are clear, they protect boith front and sides, and they fit well. I also have owned 2 pairs of Cocoons. My son says that the Vistana look much less 'dorky' than the Cocoons.
I would say that they are as advertised, in that the panoramic lens works better (or at least looks better) than side panels.
I am flying with them (I am a pilot) for the first time tomorrow, so it will be interesting to compare to other brands.
My only negative is a subjective opinion, where I feel that the construction of the frames could be somewhat better, and the sheen of the frames looks cheaper to me (I have the black color). I prefer the frame construction and mat finish of the Cocoons.
Just a subjective opinion... overall, the Vistana's do a great job and are comfortable, and I would recommend them.
