I occasionally fish at night for catfish at a local lake. I am not real experience at handling catfish and this glove is the anwser. There's a lot of 8 to 10 inch bullheads in the lake and I can just grab them with the glove on. The bigger catfish I can lip with the glove. I have yet to get stabbed. Glove can be washed out in the sink and doesn't develope an odor. Bright color makes glove easy to find.

This is a good quality glove that should be great for handling trouble fish. Its very flexible yet should protect from cuts and punctures for when northern pike try to get even.
