G. Loomis Rod Warranties

G. Loomis has two warranty programs, the standard warranty and its "GLXpediter" Program. Although we have attempted to describe these programs accurately, they are manufacturer's programs and their terms control. Standard G. Loomis Limited Lifetime Warranty


G. Loomis describes its standard warranty as follows:

Every G. Loomis rod, rod blank and reel is covered by a limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the original owner. Should damage occur due to a defect, G. Loomis will, at the company's discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge. Damage resulting from accident, neglect, or normal wear and tear will, at the company's discretion, be repaired or replaced for a nominal fee. Naturally, you will receive a complete estimate before any repairs are performed.



GL Xpediter Service


G. Loomis describes its "GL Xpediter Service" as follows:

A brand new replacement rod, delivered to your doorstep in just two days.

Contact the G. Loomis warranty department (800.456.6647), and they will ship you a replacement rod via UPS 2nd Day delivery (once you pay the $50 fee by credit card, and assuming the rod is in stock). When you receive the new rod, place your broken rod in the shipping tube, affix the prepaid UPS shipping label provided with your replacement rod, find, call or flag down UPS and they'll return your package to G. Loomis. G. Loomis will verify the return shipment of your broken rod via the UPS A.R.S. tracking system.

Cost: $50.00.

Please note: If we do not receive return verification of your broken rod within 15 days, G. Loomis will charge your credit card for the replacement rod's full retail price.

Also note: We will inspect your rod upon receipt. Should we find:
· the rod model returned is not what we sent to you
· we received a Premier rod
· we received product that is not a G. Loomis product
· we received a custom rod built on a G. Loomis blank in lieu of a G. Loomis factory built rod...
G. Loomis will charge your credit card for the replacement rod's full retail price.

Beware: Do not send other products with your GL Xpediter rod return. The return shipment of your broken rod is uninsured. If you send additional product and they are damaged or lost, the replacement expenses will be yours to bear.
