Shimano Corvalus Baitcasting Reels
The Shimano Corvalus Baitcasting Reels have many of the same great features found on higher priced reels. The cast aluminum frame and aluminum sideplates offer a longer life and increased castability. The Variable Braking System (VBS) helps to eliminate backlashes when casting. The "Super Stopper" uses a one-way, stainless steel roller bearing that eliminates back-play. This provides instant hook setting power. The 400 and 401 size reels feature a non-disengaging level-wind and a clicker for use when trolling or bait fishing. The Shimano Corvalus Baitcasting series of reels offer sizes suitable for light-weight freshwater to medium saltwater fishing applications.
