Shimano Calais Baitcasting Reels

Sculpted from aircraft-grade aluminum, its ergonomic frame houses a wish list full of features, including A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearings), Super Free (SF), a Titanium Levelwind Insert and more. It's a beauty to hold, and a pleasure to fish.
The Shimano Calais reels have the following features:
- Anti-Rust Bearings
- Lo-Mass Drilled Spool System (except on model 200ASV)
- A6063 Aluminum Spool (except on model 100A, which is A7075)
- Super Free bearing supported pinion system eliminates friction between the pinion gear and spool shaft for increased freespool
- High Efficiency Gearing (HEG) (only on model 100A)
- Variable Brake System
- Super Stopper one-way roller bearing that eliminates backplay for solid hooksets
- Septon handle grip material
- Cold forged handle shank
Model CL201A is a left-hand model. All models have ten ball bearings and one roller bearing.
