The Shakespeare Ugly Stik Junior Spincast Kit is suitable for "kids ages 4+". This kit features a two piece red 4'6" Shakespeare Ugly Stik Clear Tip Junior rod and an E-Z Cast 6 spincasting reel. The handle is constructed of durable and lightweight ergonomically shaped EVA grips built for kids. The blank through handle design gives the rod added strength. The four guides feature black stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide inserts.
The E-Z Cast 6 reel has a lightweight graphite frame, adjustable star drag system and easy push button design. The heavy-duty metal gears ensure years of use. The E-Z Cast reel comes pre-spooled with 6 lb. Stren monofilament line.
The Shakespeare Ugly Stik Junior Spincast Kit includes a plastic practice casting plug.
