Downrigger and Dipsy Diver Rods
Shakespeare Ugly Stiks are synonymous with durability. We carry this rod in four popular trolling models, three designed for downrigger fishing, and one for Dipsy Divers. These rods are in the "Big Water" line of the Ugly Stiks and carry the Shakespeare 5 year limited warranty.
These rods have the following features:
- Durable EVA foam grips
- Graphite Fuji reel seats with corrosion resistant stainless steel hoods
- Blank-through-handle construction for added strength and sensitivity
- Epoxy-coated blanks for protection from UV rays
- Top quality Fuji guides with stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide inserts
Please note that the Dipsy Diver rod, model BWDD 1100100, does not have the characteristic "clear tip" found on most Ugly Stik rods.
