The STH DDR-C3 Cassette fly reel features a cast aluminum frame and spool with a size 3 polycarbonate cassette insert. This cassette design allows the spool to be taken apart and a new spool added, popular when switching from floating to sinking lines. This reel has a strong adjustable disc drag for putting the brakes on charging fish.
The DDR-C3 also comes pre-spooled with Cortland's popular 444SL weight forward floating fly line. This line is a 9 weight and is mint green in color. Other features include 200 yards of 20 pound test Micron backing in orange and a 12 pound test Cortland Precision leader.
The DDR-C3 is a large sized reel perfect for salmon, steelhead, bass and pike fishing. The reel comes packaged in soft cloth bag with instructions for reversing the retrieve.
This reels spool has a 4" diameter and a 15/16" arbor width.
