Redington Red.X Fly Rod & Reel Outfits
Redington has combined two of it's best sellers, the Red.Fly2 rod and the Crosswater reel, to create one unbeatable outfit, the Red.X! The Red.X outfit includes a rod, a reel prespooled with backing, weight-forward floating line, a tapered, knotless leader and a burgundy Cordura traveling case. These outfits come in 2- and 4-piece designs great for travel.
The Red.Fly2 rod is great for accommodating all day casting, yet powerful enough to cover a lot of water. The Red.Fly2 series fly rods feature moderate-fast to fast actions. These rods are forgiving, yet have the power for fighting that surprise trophy. All Red.Fly2 rods feature carmel color blanks constructed with high modulus, blended Toray graphites.
All Red.Fly2 models in line weights 4 through 6 have anodized aluminum reel seats with wood inserts. Additional features of the Red.Fly2 series fly rods include AAA grade Portuguese cork handles and Pac Bay Aluminum Oxide stripping guides with hard chrome snake guides.

The Crosswater reel which come in the Red.X. outfit features a large arbor design for maximum line pick up and reduced line coiling. Crosswater reels are constructed from a high density graphite, a great material know for it's light weight and durability. These reels features a strong center drag mechanism that incorporates a Rulon drag surface. All Crosswater reels come in black.
