The Redington Crosswater Fly Fishing Outfit features an easy to cast, high performance outfit ideal for the novice fly angler all at a great price. Each outfit includes a medium-fast action Crosswater rod, a large arbor Crosswater reel pre-spooled with matching Rio Mainstream weight forward floating fly line, backing and a tapered leader and a custom rod/reel case perfect for storage and travel.

These outfits come with two or four piece rods. The two piece models are designated "-2" and the four piece models are designated "-4" at the end of the model number. All the models in weights 4, 5 and 6 have a wood reel seat insert and all the models in weights 8 and 9 have an anodized aluminum reel seat with a 1" non-removable fighting butt. Model CWY 586-4 is a specially designed Youth Outfit perfect for pre-teen and teenage anglers. The rod features a slightly smaller grip, perfect for smaller hands and trim details designed for the younger generation.

The Crosswater fly reel features durable graphite spool and frame construction with a large arbor design. The strong center disc drag helps to put the brakes on hard charging fish. These reels are easily converted from left to right hand retrieve.
