Rio WindCutter Spey Fly Line
Weight Forward Floating
The Rio WindCutter Spey lines were developed for those learning to spey cast and for the angler that likes to shoot line for distance. Spey casting requires a different line design than regular overhead casting with a weight forward line. The head length needs to be longer to enable the spey cast to "anchor" easily and it needs to be heavier than a comparable standard fly line. WindCutter Spey fly lines are individually designed with a head between 49' to 56' to help transition the new spey caster to this style of angling.
We stock Rio WindCutter II Spey Fly Line in WWF7/8/9F. This line features a yellow head and running line with a black loading point.
