RIO Max is a medium stiff, ultra clear tippet with excellent knot strength elongation (stretch) averaging about 35%. This tippet is perfect for anadromous species and for saltwater fishing, especially bonefish. It is also a good material for constructing compound, knotted leaders. This material will outlast and out-test any other monofilament. Many sizes are IGFA class certified.

This leader material comes on a 30 yard interlocking spool, with RIO's patented "Le Strap" elastic tippet restraint.
