RIO Mainstream Saltwater Fly Line

Weight Forward Floating

The RIO Mainstream Saltwater floating fly lines are designed to meet the overall needs of the average fly fisher. These lines are made to optimize fly rod performance with shorter heads and aggressive tapers which helps anglers make the perfect cast.

The RIO Mainstream Saltwater line is ideally suited for fly fishers fishing in temperate-to-tropical conditions for multiple species. This line features a hard tropical coating that will not soften in the heat. Mainstream Saltwater is based on the Rio Clouser taper design which will turn over big flies in the wind.

We carry this line in 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 weights. All lines are weight forward floating and the color is light blue.
