The product works great for precision trolling walleye in Lake Erie. They retrieve easily once tripped. The only problem is that they can be tripped when setting lines and it's hard to tell if it's tripped or not. And if you tighten them enough to avoid premature trips, they won't trip on small fish (white bass, etc). Are they a real improvement over the stardard Jet diver??? Maybe. I'll keep using mine, but later this season in the central basin when trolling back 100 ft or more, I'll adjust to avoid premature trips.
Pros: Good color and sz select, Easy to use, Help spot small fish on, Retrieve easy when tript
Cons: Can't tell when tripped, Trip too easy
Best Uses: Good for planner boards, Good for shallow walleye
