In addition, you will learn many useful material techniques that can be used on other modern flies.

The patterns covered are as follows:

  • Cahill
  • Yellow Sally
  • Rich Widow
  • Cupsuptic
  • Trout Fin
  • Parmachene Belle
  • Professor
Don Bastian has forty years of fly tying experiance, including fifteen years of teaching and commercial fly tying. The book Forgotten Flies (2000) features photographs of Don's reproduction of 499 wet fly patterns from the Ray Bergman book Trout (1938).
