Here in Hawaii, my intent was to use this Rod for shoreline plugging  Giant Trevally, Large, mean, nasty and aggressive species. The targeted size of the GT I encounter frequently on any given day range between 15 - 45lbs

Using plugs ranging from 2-4oz, this rod allows for me to get the propper action on a Stick Bait, Popper or even Mark White Ulua Bar. Paired up with my Rod is a Diawa Saltist 5000H loaded with 50lb. braid, this combination is amazing, throwin plugs and bars 70 plus yards without much effort and consisteintly.

This Rod is lighter than most people's Bass fishing rods, yet has the back bone with the help of a good reel to buckle down and really put the hurt to a fish. Added benefit to using this rod, the low weight reduces arm fatigue while Plugging for a couple of hours, hence more time devouted towards fishing.

I am EXTREMELY happy, content and satisfied with my purchase of this rod, possibly the finest Rod I have ever used and certainly one that I have purchased.

Customer service was AWESOME, courteous and very prompt in delivery of items ordered. Was able to get my item delievered within 5 days from east coast to here in Hawaii.  Seriously considering based on customer service and actual Product quality, ordering another rod or two from  both supplier and manufacturer. I cannot say enough about this rod other than it is an awesome rod, quality materials and workman ship, and preforms as noted.

Pros: Strong, super light, quality manufacture and design

Cons: none as of yet, I have taken this rod out 5 times since purchase, not even a hint of a negative

Best Uses: throwing plugs along shoreline for ULUA
