About Me:
I use these in saltwater for Redfish, flounder and specks and they hold up very well. Paint lasts for a couple of seasons however the eyes seem to come off at times but it still works great. I perfer chartreuse to the other colors just because it shows up better and has worked for me. Only place that I could find them is on FISHUSA.COM, so hard to find. This jig head can be used in both salt and fresh water.

Pros: Durable, Good For Variety Of Fish, Strong

About Me:

Tried several types of jigs and this one is the most durable. I jig in saltwater a lot and the color lasts super long on this jig head. The hook is large and the head is balanced well in that I get very few snags. I always use a flourocarbon leader to appear to be bait only. Hook stays very sharp and although large I always catch with almost no misses.

Pros: Durable, Very sharp

Cons: none

About Me:
Avid Fisher
I use the Flats Jig Head for light tackle striper applications. They work great with Strike King and Z-man swim baits and soft jerkbaits. I crimp down the collar barb to rig the baits more easily and secure them to the head with a drop of super glue. The hook in the jig is big and strong. I fish them around rock cover and the paint and lead hold up better than any jig head I have used.

Pros: Strong

Cons: none

Best Uses: Salt Water

About Me:
Avid Fisher
these wide gap jig heads increased our hook ups so much, i really like the clear coat ones best with a roach colored plastic. try these in 1/8 and 1/4 oz in your bay and you will agree. it seems like the jig heads cast a little better, feels like strike kings 0z is heavier than others, we are using the 1/8 oz in 7ft of water and catching lots of speckeld trout in the Galveston Bay areas. I stongly recommend trying these jig heads. Thanks for such a wonderful product, I have the same jig head on my line still, they last longer than the others. Alan McCuistion , Dayton Texas
