About Me:
Absolutely love the rod. First day fished with it was cold and 30+mph winds, I was using a Pflueger Medalist with 4# test and a 1/8oz Kastmaster. Even against the wind I was casting 20+ yards Line went out like it was shot out of a rifle. First cast caught a rainbow trout right away. Sensitivity and Action are amazing every fish I caught it just seemed to hook the fish without much interaction from.

Pros: sensative, fast, great action

Perfect Rod

About Me:
Avid Angler
I am an avid fly fisherman but some of the streams in my area are too narrow and dense with forage along the banks to use a fly rod. I purchased the 5'4" trout series rod so I can still fish them. This rod was perfect. Its small size allows me to navigate through these narrow creeks and the fast action gives me the ability to cast my lures a distance with accuracy. The ultra light action of the rod is very supple allowing me to know exactly what my lure is doing and with enough backbone to set the hook. I cant say enough good things about this rod. If you want to hit the smaller trout streams and carry a small rod that can still pull in 24" browns with ease than look no further.

Pros: sensative, durable, great action

About Me:
I just purchased the 7' St Croix Trout Spinning. It is very well made from one end to the other I am very anxious for the weather to break so I can take it to the lake. I have two other St. Croix rods that I am very fond of. I am sure this one will be just as good or better that the other two

Pros: Very well made
