About Me:

I loaded my Ambassador bait casting reel with this line and it has performed beautifully so far. The line is very easy to handle and casting performance is noticeably better than monofilament. It ties easily and securely and it delivers excellent feel. Given the line's diameter, I plan on trying it in my Daiwa Minicast ultralight.

Pros: Strong , Easy To Handle , Easy casting

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water , Shore Casting

This is the first time I have used Spiderwire in my life. I am a retired Charter Captain here in Michigan and for some reason have always used monofilament line. I've been fishing for 60 years. This stuff is strong and ties easily. I'm hooked!

About Me:

Great manageability, tight on spool if you use a mono-backing. I fish it on a light Quantum hypercast spinning w/ a med 6'6 IM7 graphite rod. This braid gives me smooth casts, no birdsnests at all, been using for about a month. Never even had to re-pack on the reel if you lower the bail by hand and raise the rod tip before you start reeling. Cheap, strong, easy to use, long casting. Very sensitive, can feel hits. I fish mostly crankbaits and topwater frogs, barely miss a hit.

Pros: Easy To Handle , Long Casting , Fish Don't Escape , Easy To Store

Cons: None

Best Uses: Trolling , Salt Water , Fresh Water , Deep Water , Shore Casting , Jigging
