I purchased this as an alternative to a vest and so far I really like it. I like that there's enough options for storage of items without the pack being too bulky. I fit everything from my vest in here with room to spare. The first compartment can fit a large fly/lure. The second compartment lacks the same depth and likely holds only thin boxes, but there's more fly storage in the flip down panel if you need it. The pack does a good job of staying compact when it's not fully loaded, yet allows you to stuff it full when you need to. The waist strap is comfortable; big enough without getting in the way. The buckles can be removed from the strap allowing belt-loop holsters to be attached (i.e. knives, pliers, etc). As supple as the pack is, the zippers can be opened easily with one hand and the firm front compartment opens nicely to reveal your fly/lure panel, which stays at an angle of about 30 degrees so no risk of dumping the contents into the water even if you leave it open. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability, but it looks like it'll do just fine.

Pros: Lightweight, Style and design, Quality, Ease of Use

Cons: none

Best Uses: Freshwater, FlyFishing
