Schooley's Spring Bobber Pole Package
This is a great package for light ice fishing. It includes a Schooley's spring bobber pole in either a 21" or 40" length, a jig pole reel with an adjustable drag, pre-spooled with line, a reel line marker pin, a rod stand and even an ice fishing jig.
The reel may be either red, yellow or green in color. The 40" rods are a bit stiffer than the 21" rod, but all are designed for panfish.
Please select the pole size from the list above.

the best rod money can buy for ice fishing! great for panfish, but can also handle the bigger ones to with no problem. could use a longer handle to reel with when you have gloves on, the depth pin gets in the way.still it's the only rods i use.
Pros:
easy to use
Cons:
real knob could be a bit longer
Best Uses:
Ice Fishing

Good functional combo

Good basic rig for shallow to medium depth(up to about 20') panfish rig. Trouble free and durable. I've used the 26" combo for years, and just bought a couple of the 40" rigs for hole hopping outside the shack. I use spinning rigs from time to time, but keep coming back to the Schooleys for the durability and ease of use. The only downside, which is minor for me, is they don't have quite the action of a higher dollar rod,but the simplicity and lack of problems more than make up for it. The one thing I would like to change is to have a wooden handle instead of the plastic, even if it cost a little more.

Cheap plastic handle

Cool Little Pole

I bought this rod to fish lightweight jigs on light line. It's a pretty slick little rig and you can't beat the price. It comes spooled with line (it looks to be 6 lb test or so and was too heavy for my application, though the yellow line is pleasantly very visible on the ice) and a little ice jig as well. The only thing lacking would be a tiny loop built in to hook the miniscule ice hooks for transport. Other than that I couldn't be happier. By the way, the shipping was absurdly fast. Got my order just a couple days after placing it.
