The Essence FW fly rod series is Ross Worldwide's premium rod line. This 4-piece rod series has a beautiful deep green finish with nicely appointed silver accents. The reel seat on the freshwater models is nickel-plated with a hand-turned solid maple insert, making each rod a unique, one of a kind creation while the heavier rods feature double-locking all aluminum reel seats. The Essence FW fly rods are fitted with premium "Grade A" cork handles and each rod is shipped with a custom designed aluminum carrying case.

The Essence FW proprietary R-3 graphite design is a medium-fast action taper that is perfect for any casting style. This design is slightly faster the Essence FC Series, providing any level of angler with the accuracy and smooth presentation required in the most challenging fishing conditions. Essence FW rods are incredibly sensitive when making short casts, but have the power to reach out to far away targets.

The Essence FW Series Fly Rods include the following features:

Premium R-3 graphite blank construction
Smooth medium-fast actions
Half Wells handle with uplocking nickel reel seat with maple insert on 3 wt. through 6 wt. Freshwater rods
Chrome snake guides and titanium oxide stripper guides
Alignment dots on each rod section
Aluminum rod tube and microfiber rod sock included with each rod

All Essence FW Series Fly Rods are four piece only.
