The Redington Minnow Youth Fly Fishing Outfit is specially designed to help introduce young anglers to the sport of fly fishing.
Included in the Minnow Youth Fly Fishing Outfit is an easy casting 2-piece 8' 0" 5/6 wt. Minnow rod, a durable large arbor Crosswater disc drag reel that comes pre-loaded with Rio backing, weight-forward floating flyline, a knotless tapered leader and a rod sock for storage. The outfit also includes fun casting games and cut-out targets to help with developing casting skills.

The Minnow rod is built on a medium-fast graphite blank and features silicone carbide stripping guides and a AA grade cork grip with wood insert and aluminum reel seat. The grip is designed smaller to specifically fit a childs hand. The rod weight is 2.8 oz.

The Crosswater reel is constructed of high-density graphite composite with a large arbor design. The reel features an exclusive Rulon drag surface, an unfussy screw off quick-change spool and a one-way clutch that is easy to change retrieve directions. This reel is perfect for children and weighs 5.0 oz.

The Redington Minnow Youth Fly Fishing Outfit features high quality components and is designed for children ages 6-12.
