Raven Premium Balsa Floats Slow and Shallow (SS)
With the development of the Raven float system, a float is now available for virtually any river condition and depth. Sporting a high visibility red tip and a low visibility black body, these balsa floats feature a high strength one-piece, fiberglass stem. Every float takes 3/32" silicone tubing on the top and 1/16" tubing on the bottom, to allow anglers to quickly change float size or model, without having to cut and re-tie.
The Raven Slow and Shallow Premium Balsa Floats are specifically designed for salmon and steelhead fishing in slow currents, with shallow water depths of 2 to 4 ft. The "weight" is not the weight of the float itself, but rather the amount of weight in grams that the float will support.

These are "loose" floats, meaning they do not come in a separate package. The rubber float caps used to attach the float to the fishing line are sold separately.

A must for fishing for Steelheads in the tributaries of Lake Erie. They are easy to install, can be easily adjusted for water depth and stand out on top the water without spooking the fish. Couldn't ask for a better product.
