Raven Premium Balsa Floats - Fast and Shallow - FS

$2.25

With the development of the Raven float system, a float is now available for virtually any river condition and depth. Sporting a high visibility red tip and a low visibility black body, these balsa floats feature a high strength one-piece, fiberglass stem. Every float takes 3/32" silicone tubing on the top and 1/16" tubing on the bottom, to allow anglers to quickly change float size or model, without having to cut and re-tie.

The Raven Slow and Medium Premium Balsa Floats are specifically designed for salmon and steelhead fishing in fast currents, with shallow water depths of 2 to 4 ft. The "weight" is not the weight of the float itself, but rather the amount of weight in grams that the float will support.

Specifications

These are "loose" floats, meaning they do not come in a separate package. The rubber float caps used to attach the float to the fishing line are sold separately.

About Me:
Avid Fisher
This is an excellent float. I use it for summer steelhead fishing when the water is low and the fish are holding in fast riffles. The only issue is that the 3/32" silicone tubing, which is supposed to work for the top, is too big for this float, and I have to use 1/16" on both ends.

Pros: Easy To Use, Durable, Functional

Cons: none

Best Uses: Fresh Water
