Bought 2 for my softsided tackle boxes. hard to find a deck knife with a low maintenance sheath. Just got to use one this morning for some silver salmon gutting. I found the knife to open up the gut as well as my fillet knife (sharp). I did not do any touch up on the knife to sharpen before I used it. fine basic utility knife. Really is there in my tackle boxes in case I happen to jump on someone's boat, or am on the river fishing, and need a utility knife, as it always in my tackle box. don't have to worry about keeping it dry, loosing it or getting cut as it has a sheath on it. not sure I would trust the sheath enough to put the knife in my coat pocket...great for the tackle box. Time will tell if it rusts on me (I know its stainless, but have had many a product that was "stainless" rust on me in salt water). I would buy again.

Pros: Price, waterproof - all plastic or metal

Cons: sheath clip is ok, not super solid

Best Uses: utility deck knife

Not a bad knife at all for the price. I was expecting some dull cheapo knife that would not last long but it is much better then I expected
