|Very nice line|
I have always stuck to WF fly lines, but decided I wanted to try for more distance, especially at lakes for bass. This line fit the bill well. BUT, be careful as these lines are more than two grain weights heavier than a standard weight forward line. The 7wt outbound is the grain weight of a 10wt. This overloaded my rod too much, so I got a 6wt outbound which has the grain weight of a 9wt line for my 7wt rod (a fast action rod... you may want to underline even more if you have a medium action rod). I am learning that the casting style is very different with a shooting head, but once you get the hang of it, the line flies!
