Pinnacle PowerTip Pro Rods feature a Dual Layer Blank Construction. In this process, a protective shield of longitudinal super-strong glass fibers is wrapped around a super-sensitive, high-density composite core. At the top of the rod, these fibers come together to form a solid, super strong fiberglass tip that is clear, so you are assured of a super-strong, long-lasting rod that will transmit even the gentlest nibble.

Bend a PowerTip severely in a wrenching hookset or fighting a huge trophy and because the anodized black frame guides are underwrapped they can't destroy the blank by biting into it. Cushioned steel hoods hold your reel firmly in place and a comfy black non-slip EVA handle lets you keep a grip.

We carry one model of the Pinnacle Power Tip Pro rod. The 8' 0" PTP802CHDD is a heavy downrigger or medium dipsy diver trolling, and is a great rod for Great Lakes walleye, salmon and trout. This rod features a straight handle (grip) and a rubber butt cap.
