The Pflueger Trion Series are beautiful spinning rods built with high modulus graphite for light weight and increased sensitivity. They feature premium Fugi guides with Fugi Guide Concept Design for improved casting performance. Additional features include Kevlar braid for extra strength, top grade cork grips with protective rubber butt, Fuji graphite up-locking reel seats with cushioned stainless steel hoods, blank-through-handle construction, hook keeper and a five year limited warranty.

I really like the feel of this rod..I have shelved other more expensive rods. Great for soft plastics and inshore/coastal saltwater fishing. Excellent for kayak use. Use a stiffer rod if you are pulling bull reds from pilings. Takes a little while to get a 27" red to the boat but that's light tackle. I use a stratic 2500 fgmg with 12lb power pro with it.
i have given these to 2 others and they use them exclusively.

I use this rod as a good all rounder & caught fish up 14LBS.Just go steady with heavier fish by letting you're reel tension slightly loose & take your time to net the fish especially in the salt water bay.

Great product at great price. I paired it with a Pflueger President spinning reel. The combination looks and performs like a much more expensive setup. No need to spend any more than I did.
