Pflueger Trion GX Spinning Combos
Pflueger Trion GX Spinning Combos offer the angler a quality spinning rod and reel combination at a great price. Trion GX Spinning Combos include an IM-8 graphite spinning rod and a smooth Trion spinning reel. Trion spinning rods are sensitive yet durable. They include stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts, top-grade cork handles with fuji-style reel seats and stainless steel hook keepers. Trion reels feature smooth multi-ball bearing drives, instant anti-reverse, graphite frames and rotors, machined aluminum spools, titanium ball bearing line rollers, strong front drags with click adjustments and machined aluminum handles with rosewood knobs.
Model PFLTRIONGX48CBO features a 4' 8" 1-piece ultralight rod and a model 4720GX reel. This ultralight action combo is rated for 2-6 pound test lines and is great for trout and panfish in smaller streams, lakes and ponds. Specifications are provided in the table below.

This rod is amazing, very portable, very light and you can feel EVERYTHING its so easy to distinguish a hit and bouncing off of the bottom. They are also very durable ive pulled in 5lb bass with it with no problems.

The reel handle is coated with a shiny material (some kind of foil or paint) which wore off after about a year's use in saltwater. This did not harm the functionality of the reel, only the looks.
Otherwise, the reel held up very well through dozens of kayak/saltwater trips and lots of use.

I have been a die-hard ugly stick user for years, but when I got this for christmas I was pleasantly surprised! nice looking, and with #15 spider wire reeled up the casting was smooth and much further out than I expected. Great for lure or bait casting too.
