The Pflueger Razor Tip Spinning Rod series offer anglers lightweight and sensitive rods with beautiful craftsmanship and quality at affordable prices. The Razor Tip rods feature solid carbon graphite tips which arre more sensitive than traditional tubular graphites. This innovation is also up to 250% stronger than the standard rod tip design. This thinner diameter tip is more flexible and allows for farther casting of lighter baits and lures.

I fish day in and day out, tournaments and recreationally. I loved this rod, it felt great. I was using 6 lb. mono when the I got a hit while casting and reeling, the rod snapped in half. I owned it not even 1 full season. I love the brand and always have, but I think I may just stick with the reels, and move on to better rods. Very disappointed with the craftsmanship of this product, would not recommend these rods to anyone.

Pros: Accurate Casting , Easy To Transport , Sensitive , Good Tip Action

I have both the 4 foot version and 2 7 foot two piece versions. These rods are very sensitive and a lot of fun when trolling for trout and small bass. However one of my 7 foot rods had the tip snap off shortly after purchase. I am skeptical about the 250% stronger claim. But as long as you dont bend the tip over too far it should be ok.

Pros: Easy To Transport , Sensitive , Good Tip Action , Flexible , Accurate Casting

Cons: Breaks Easily

Best Uses: Small Fish

Very unique and innovated spinning rod having the sensitive thin, strong and solid graphite tip section length of about 14 inches . FishUSA.com were the only ones that I could find on-line still having the two piece 6ft.-6inch length Razor Tip rods. It seems that Pflueger will no longer be manufacturering spinning rods starting next season. If you want a two piece Razor Tip rod, best to order one now before none will be available. I bought three of these rods. All reviews I could find gives this rod excellent ratings.

Pros: Accurate Casting , Well Made and good lookin , Flexible , Durable , Sensitive , Easy To Transport , Good Tip Action

I HAVEN'T BOUGHT A LOT OF RODS BUT THIS IS THE BEST ONE. FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE, IF YOU DO BUY THIS ROD BUY A TWO PIECE THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY BUT MY ONE PIECE BROKE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THE TWO PIECE IS A LOT EASIER TO PACK AND TRAVEL WITH.
