I bought 2 of these reels with high expectations, pairing them with Diawa Shorty poles. One of the reels malfunctioned and needed to be returned, but the other functions flawlessly and is much fun to fish with. I called FishUSA and explained the situation and they are sending a replacement. I don't think this incident is indicative of the quality of this reel becuase as I said the other works flawlessly and it's caught a number of nice sized fish. Defects in smaller gear are not uncommon, but what is uncommon is the no questions asked replacement service that FishUSA provided. It's not often that you find such great customer service and I really appreciate the return policy of FishUSA.
Because of this, FishUSA will be my goto supplier for gear going forward, not to mention the fair prices.
