The Peet Shoe and Glove Dryer is the perfect solution for drying damp and wet footwear, boots and waders. This unit will dry all of your footwear safely, silently and thoroughly overnight. Peet's thermal convection drying process removes perspiration, wetness and resulting odor from any type of shoe or boot. Plug it in and forget it. And there's no need to remove your boots promptly the next morning because you can safely dry and store footwear on the Peet dryer until shoes are ready to be worn again.
Since Peet does not get hot or blow hot air, all footwear can now be dried without fear of shrinkage or stiffness, as typically occurs with alternative drying methods. Even your valuable leather shoes are free from damaging heat.

The unit I got did not look like the one in the picture. Minor gripe.
Functional as the description says: Plug it in and forget about it. The unit is very quiet. I had to check it at first to make sure it was working.
I also use it for drying non-fishing items like gym gloves and shoes.
