The Okuma Magnitude rods and Integrity reels combine excellent quality with outstanding value. We have put together combinations that meet many angling situations from large trout to bass, steelhead, salmon and in-shore saltwater species.

Okuma has set the standards of what can be expected from fly reels, and has used the same principles in developing its Magnitude graphite fly rods. The result is a series of world class fly rods that are the ultimate in value. These powerful 2 piece and 4 piece rods are made from high modulus graphite blanks. Finished with rosewood reel seats and aluminum oxide and stainless steel guides. Rod model MAF-904-8 is a four-piece rod, with all other models two-piece rods. All these rods come with a dark blue hard Cordura rod case and rod sock.

The Okuma Integrity's large arbor design gives faster line retrieval for a single action reel. Traditionally known as a specialty reel, large arbor reels have caught on in the fly fishing world, and now are the standard for many anglers. The Integrity series features a new, patent pending, one-way disc–drag system. This system allows for super smooth high-end drag pressure, yet the retrieval is completely drag-free.

I bought this combination mainly for the Integrity reel and the rod as a back up. The reel works beautifully! very smooth, and the drag is fantastic. The rod was a pleasant surprise, I bit stiffer than other rods I own, but had very good control, decent sensitivity and was able to really control the big King Salmon on Salmon River with it. If you're on a budget, you can't go wrong with this combination!

Pros: Durable , Sensitive

Cons: Too Stiff

Best Uses: Large Fish
