The Okuma Great Lakes Magda Pro/Classic Pro GLT Trolling Combos offer a quality freshwater trolling combo at a great price. These combo features the popular Okuma Magda Pro DX Linecounter Reels with the Okuma Classic Pro GLT Trolling Rods. We carry this combo in five models.
Model CP-DR-762ML-20DX (7' 6", ML/MA-20DX) features a 7' 6", 2 piece, medium light action downrigger rod great for downrigger and planer board use, paired with a Magda Pro DX MA-20DX linecounter reel.
Model CP-LT-762M-20DX (7' 6", M/MA-20DX) features a 7' 6", 2 piece, medium action lake troll rod great for general trolling, paired with a Magda Pro DX MA-20DX linecounter reel.
Model CPDR-862M-30DX (8' 6", M/MA-30DX) features a 8' 6", 2 piece, medium action downrigger rod great for all downrigger techniques, paired with a Magda Pro DX MA-30DX linecounter reel.
Model CPCL-862M-45DX (8' 6", M/MA-45 DX) features a 8' 6", 2 piece, medium action copper wire/leadcore rod, paired with the larger capacity Magda Pro DX MA-45DX linecounter reel.
Model CP-DD-1002-30DX (10' 0", M/MA-30DX) features a 10' 0", 2 piece, medium action downrigger rod perfect for use with dipsy divers, paired with a Magda Pro DX MA-30DX linecounter reel.
Additional features of the rods and reels which make up these combos are described below.
The Okuma Magda Pro DX Linecounter Reels feature frames made of lightweight, corrosion resistant graphite. These reels are fitted with precision cut brass gears for extra strength and long life durability. The stainless steel levelwind feature distributes the line evenly for a flat line lay, reducing twists and tangles, and the oversized drag provides consistent smoothness and strength.
All Okuma Magda Pro DX models have the following features:
- Line counter measuring line in feet
- Machine cut brass and stainless gears
- Oversized multi-disc drag
- Oversized star drag for quick adjustments
- One-piece, corrosion resistant graphite frame
- Flush fitting graphite reel clamp
- Selectable line clicker

The Okuma Classic Pro GLT Trolling Rods are fine tuned for the Great Lake's trolling angler. These rods feature durable construction and actions tailored specifically for use with downriggers, Dipsy Diver-type diving disks and copper and leadcore sinking wires.
All Classic Pro GLT Trolling Rods feature fiberglass blank construction, uplocking Fuji-style reel seats with stainless steel hoods, and heavy duty, double foot stainless steel guides. The Eva grips provide comfort for long days on the water. The butt section of the grips feature a rubberized, shrink tube overlay which provides additional gripping power for wet hands and makes it easier to remove from a rod holder.

- Specialized Great Lakes actions
- Durable fiberglass blank construction
- Double footed, stainless steel guides
- Titanium oxide guide inserts, solid stainless steel on Copper/Leadcore wire models
- Uplocking, Fuji-style reel seats
