I've only used on one trip but had success with late season pike and some perch. Varied cadences and snap vs. swim vs. pulls and had success with each at some point in the day.
I found this lure to be a life saver during opening week of walleye season on Onieda Lake last year five of the seven days we were there the lake was to rough to get out on so we tried jigging these lures along the channel wall leading into the east end of the lake my brother in law and I limited out two days in a row with fish ranging from 18 to 24 inches unfortunately I lost the only one I had to a toothy northern along the same channel going back this year and wanted to be sure to have a couple of extras.
The jig has good action to it. The emerald shiner was the one that worked the best for me. Pretty erratic action similar to the Rapala brand
