Northland Bionic Ice Braid is a premium no stretch superline utilizing innovative 4-carrier Balanced Braid Technology. Northland utilized micro sized deniers of PE fibers in the construction of the Bionic Braid, providing anglers with a rounder, limper and tougher braid. The special coating of low friction anti freeze skin resists freezing keeping the line limper and more manageable on the spool.

We offer Northland Bionic Ice Braid in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 pound test. All spools contain 40 yards of line. This line is available in Blue Camo (BC) or Ice Grey (IG).

About Me:
none

I bought this line to put on a rod and reel combo that I got from Fish USA for a Chrismas present. The line is super thin. I have used braids in the past but nothing comes close to the size of this. With that said, working with it in cold windy weather is a bit of a pain. When tying make sure you wet the knot your it will surely break when you pull down.On my first outting with it I gave up trying to tie on jigs (at -3 degrees] and went to another rod. I have used it since then to catch some perch, walleye and even a carp that I could not get threw a 5" hole that I drilled because I was to lazy to bring out the gas auger. There is no strech ,it stays as soft as came  and can really do a number on the larger fish. The hook sets  a impressive . To sum it up if you are use to braids and the way you have to make those knots, go for it.

Pros: tough, limp in ice

Cons: knot tying

Best Uses: ice fishing
