The Mustad Signature S80-3906 Nymph Sproat Hooks are best suited for tying nymph patterns and wet flies. This hook is a replacement for the Mustad 3906. The Mustad S80-3906 features a down turned eye, sproat bend, standard length shank and a bronzed finish. The 3x heavy wire makes for a strong hook capable of landing large fish with out fear of straightening.

Nothing beats mustad hooks, factoring in the quality and price. It is a shame they discontinued their original lines of hooks (3906/9671 etc) for the new "signature series" which are more expensive without a significant improvement
