Mountain River Fishing Lanyards

Mountain River fishing lanyards provide a alternative method of carrying your vest accessories, such as nippers, floatant, and tippet on-stream. These lanyards are designed by a guide in Montana, and have become very popular in recent years.

The Loop is a traditional lanyard, without a tippet carrier. It features custom beadwork, padded neck, four accessory snaps, a shirt clip (to attach the lanyard bottom to your shirt), and a fly/sunglass chamois.

The Angler is the original Mountain River lanyard. It includes all the features of The Loop, with the addition of a horizontal tippet carrier.

FishUSA also offers the Mountain River Tippet Carriers and Floatant Caddy, which can be attached to these lanyards. Please note that these lanyards don't include tippet, nippers or any other accessories pictured below.

Mountain River lanyards are made in the U.S.A.

Made my son an independent fly fisher

About Me:

I bought this for my 10-year old son, and after fishing the Tuolumne river with him, I almost wished I had bought one for me to. Obviously you can't carry extra fly boxes and spare reel spools on a lanyard, but you really can carry everything you need for an day of great fishing. It really made him independent, with flies, tippet, nippers, everything he needed. The one accessory that is definitely worth getting is a floatant holder.

Pros: Durable, High Quality

Cons: none

Best Uses: none
