Mepps Comet Mino - Shad

Mepps Comet Mino

The Mepps Comet Mino is deadly on most game species, including panfish, trout and bass. Because the Comet Mino features an interchangeable hook, two or more blades can be connected in tandem for additional flash, weight, vibration and casting distance. Comet Minos are all carefully airbrushed to ensure quality. Their erratic swimming action makes them appear to be a wounded bait fish. Gold blades are polished brass. Silver blades are genuine silver plated. All Comets run at mid-depths.

We stock the Comet Mino in both silver and gold blades.

I used these as a kid 25 years ago. Now that I have kids of my own I had to get more for pier casting for trout. Spinner still works great on spring brown trout.

Pros: Irresistible to Fish , Looks Realistic

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water , Shore Casting

About Me:

I fish this in bass lakes and it produces like crazy. My brother caught a 20" and 17" largemouth last year on the Mepps Comet. The 5/16th oz. is the size we usually use. Crappie and channel cats will hit it, too. We've been using this lure for 25 years and it never disappoints.

Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish , Irresistible to Fish

Cons: None

Best Uses: Fresh Water
