The Mepps Aglia Spinners - Undressed is the "Original French Spinner" and is the World's #1 fishing lure. It has a classic design and superior quality. No other lure has caught so many record fish.
We stock the Aglia in these sizes: #0 (1/12 ounce), #1 (1/8 ounce), #2 (1/6 ounce), #3 (1/4 ounce), #4 (1/3 ounce), and #5 (1/2 oz.). Sizes #0 and #1 are perfect for trout, perch and panfish. A #2 Aglia is ideal for large crappies, while Aglias in size #3 and #4 are great for both large and smallmouth bass, salmon and steelhead. Northern pike, musky, largemouth bass, stripers and big salmon are quick to nail a #5 Aglia.

I use Mepps in size 00-4 mostly 2's and 3's.
I've found the basics work well Silver, Gold and Copper and red and white with silver or gold.
If you cant catch it on a Mepps it probably cant be caught!
I tie them directly on the line for a better presentation then add a swivel when I get too much line twist.

I don't know why the fish go for this, but they do. This is a must have piece of equipment I you're tackle box if you want to catch fish! When every other rig misses the mepp will pull them in!!
